Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data WorldTax.ai collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. It applies to worldtaxai.com.
1. Who we are
WorldTax.ai is a startup based in Barcelona, Spain, and is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us at hello@worldtaxai.com.
2. What we collect
| Source | Data |
|---|---|
| Access or pricing request form | Your name, email address, the profile you select (individual, business or advisor), the type of request, and any message you choose to write. |
| Emails you send us | Your email address and the content of your message. |
| Technical data | When you visit, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and requested pages, to deliver the site and keep it secure. |
3. Why and on what legal basis
- To answer your request and manage beta access (for example to send you an access link). Legal basis: steps taken at your request and our legitimate interest in replying to you (GDPR art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f).
- To operate and secure the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).
- To improve the product using the feedback and use cases you share. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).
We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell personal data.
4. Who receives your data
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare: hosting of the website, delivery of form submissions and email routing.
- Google: the mailbox where requests are received, and Google Fonts, which serves the typeface used on the site (your IP address is sent to Google when the font loads).
- jsDelivr: a public content delivery network that serves the code library used for the 3D visuals (your IP address is sent when it loads).
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, it relies on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep requests and related emails for as long as needed to answer you and manage your beta access, and afterwards only as long as required to meet legal obligations or defend legal claims. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and Spanish data protection law you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email hello@worldtaxai.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), or with the authority of your country of residence.
7. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not include marketing trackers. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for security and operation of the service.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top shows the latest version. The beta product itself may be subject to additional information provided when you receive access.
